Reading of the Day: Isaiah 41:8–13
8 “But you, Israel, my servant, Jacob, whom I have chosen,
you descendants of Abraham my friend,
9 I took you from the ends of the earth,
from its farthest corners I called you.
I said, ‘You are my servant’;
I have chosen you and have not rejected you.
10 So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
11 All who rage against you
will surely be ashamed and disgraced;
those who oppose you
will be as nothing and perish.
12 Though you search for your enemies,
you will not find them.
Those who wage war against you
will be as nothing at all.
13 For I am the Lord your God
who takes hold of your right hand
and says to you, Do not fear;
I will help you.”
Short Explanation:
Life often confronts us with moments that make us feel weak, overwhelmed, or unsure of the future. Fear can quietly creep in through financial pressure, strained relationships, health concerns, or unanswered prayers. In Isaiah 41, God speaks directly to hearts weighed down by uncertainty, reminding us that we are not facing life alone. His promise is not the absence of trouble, but the presence of His strength in the middle of it. When we feel rejected, forgotten, or insignificant, God declares that we are chosen and upheld by His hand. This assurance invites us to shift our focus from our limitations to His faithfulness. God’s grip on our lives is steady, even when our faith feels shaky. Trusting Him allows us to walk forward with peace instead of panic. Today’s Word calls us to release fear and lean fully into God’s help.

Morning Prayer:
Lord God, thank You for reminding me that You are always with me.
When fear and doubt rise within my heart, strengthen my faith.
Help me trust Your hand that holds and guides my life.
Replace my anxiety with peace and my weakness with Your strength.
Teach me to walk confidently, knowing You will help me.
I place this day into Your loving care.
